Halloween Festivities at Staheli Farms

With Halloween fast approaching there is a tremendous amount of fall festivities going on around St George and in southern Utah. One of the premier places for Halloween activities is out at Staheli Farms, located off of 3400 S. Washington Fields Road, in Washington City. This is where the beloved Corn Maze is located that everyone raves about. This year they’ve upped their game by making it a “Field of Screams” corn maze, complete with ghosts and goblins who will jump out at you to make your heart race just a little bit more. It’s always a hit for family’s, especially with young teenagers as it isn’t too scary, but they definitely make you jump when you’re out there.

If you have younger kids and were looking for a pumpkin patch to take them to then you’re in luck, as that is another one of the offerings out at Staheli Farms during Halloween time. And to top it off every Friday and Saturday they have monster truck shows, which is fun for all ages. The cost to get into the monster truck show is $10 per person, but definitely worth it especially when you combine it with the Field of Screams corn maze, some pumpkins, and some apple cider.

Best Hawaiian Food in St George – Island Grinds

There’s a newcomer to our list of favorite places to get some grub in St George, and that is Island Grinds out near Santa Clara. They offer authentic Hawaiian food that is some of the best in all of southern Utah. Our favorties are their Katsu Chicken, and their Lemon Pepper Chicken, with brown rices and their Hawaiian BBQ sauce that is to die for. You can’t go wrong with their Pu Pu chicken and their teriyaki beef dishes either.

So if you’re looking to switch up your eating establishments, then make certain you add Island Grinds to your list. It is located at 1973 W Sunset Blvd, St George, UT 84770.
