If there’s one thing that southern Utah gets right, its the 4th of July. There are parties, festivities, and fireworks going on all over! We’ve got free concerts, free barbecues, free fun all around. So here are a just a few of the things that you can attend with your family this 4th of July.

Fourth of July Parties/Celebrations

St George

Go to the Dixie Sunbowl where they will have booths, food and fun for the whole family all day long on the 4th. The event features a parade, fantastic talent show, family 5K run that won’t disappoint, then games and entertainment throughout the day

Springdale

Get ready for a parade and parties in the park down in Springdale, one of the prettiest towns in all of America. They also have a lions club breakfast that’s served in the morning as well.

Casapalooza in Mesquite

If you’re after a 21+ pool party and concert then head on down to the Casablanca in Mesquite. They’ve got a big party planned with a free concert that is sure to hit the spot.

Hurricane

Their 4th festivities are down at the Hurricane Community Center, and last all-day. The Lions Club Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., followed by the “Stars and Stripes” parade, starting at Main Street and 300 South.

Fireworks Shows in the Area

St George & Hurricane Fireworks

The best place to watch these fireworks is at Vernon Worthen park in the middle of St George. Right next to the Dixie Sunbowl which is where all of the 4th of July St George festivities will be going on.

Hurricane’s fireworks will begin at 10 pm and one of the best places to view them are on at the main street park in Hurricane

Cedar City Fireworks

If you’re heading up a little north to Cedar City then their fireworks display is going on around 9:45 – 10 pm, and the best place to see them is to park along Lund Highway, Aviation Way or Airport Road.

Brian Head Fireworks

If you’re looking for a little mountainous area to watch the fireworks from then head on up to Brian Head. They put on quite the show at this little ski resort community.
