25th Annual Enterprise Cornfest

The list of activities and things going on in southern Utah is long today. And we’ll start it off with one of our favorite festivals, one we wait for all year long, the 25th Annual Cornfest out in Enterprise Utah. The festivities begin on Saturday at 10 am and go until 11 pm at the city park in Enterprise, located at 400 E. 400 S. Plan on having a bundle of people to interact with which only makes a festival that much more enjoyable, they’re planning on having around 5,000 people attend. Enterprise produces some of the best corn you can find anywhere, so come hungry for some buttered corn on the cob. Including the food there is a volleyball and softball tournament, a mechanical bull, antique car show, half marathon, an amazing dutch oven dinner, dancing and live entertainment. This is fun for the whole family, so head just a little north of St George to check it out.

17th Annual Western Legends Roundup

In Kanab Utah they’re celebrating their heritage, with one of the biggest events of the year there. There are so many things to do, and the Roudups theme this year is “How the West was won”. The celebrations begin on Thursday and go until Saturday, and it’s billed as a celebration of film, music, poetry, and western heritage. Some of the events include a shooting competition, street fair, dinner with the stars, and a tribute country music band for Marty Robbins. There will be a “High Noon Parade”, cowboy music and poetry, a good ole-fashioned trailer pull, western food eating contents, and much much more. The prices start at just $5 and go up to $30 for those looking for a more VIP experience. So come one come all to Kanab Utah this weekend.
