Dixie Roundup

The 81st Annual Dixie Roundup Rodeo is this weekend, and is one of the premier rodeo events in all of southern Utah. So if you’re looking for some buckin-broncos, and some crazy mad bulls, then this is your weekend. It started yesterday and goes until Saturday night. There will be mutton busters (kids trying to ride sheep), bull riding, calf-roping and more. This isn’t just a local rodeo either, this is PRCA approved professional rodeo featuring Rodeo champion cowboys and stock, so come prepared to be entertained and to have a great time. Admission is between $5 – 15, and is fun for the whole family.

Don’t miss out on the rodeo parade on Saturday morning either, that leads to the free roundup festivities at the Vernon Worthen park, including a mechanical bull! So there is so much going on that you don’t want to miss out on. For further information see their website here.

Rocktober Fest in Brian Head

Looking forward to seeing some autumn foliage and colors? Well this weekend you can mix that with a little bit of brew as well, just head on up to Brian Head Utah to experience some of the best fall colors around. There will be a beer garden open from noon until 10 pm Saturday night. Then again on Sunday from 12 – 5 pm. They’ll have the lifts running (until 5 pm) so you can get up high to see the amazing views and wonderful changing of the season.

They’ll have some live music from Salt Lake to San Diego, as well as some food and fun. So don’t miss out on the fall colors or the excitement that’s going on at Brian Head this weekend.

Glendale Apple Festival

Head a little to the east to Glendale for their annual Apple Festival. Includes an apple cook off, a 5K run, dutch oven dinner and much much more. Small town festivals make for some big time fun.

Battle at the Bloc

If it’s a little more adventure and water you’re after then head out to the Bloc Wakeboard park where they’ll have some of the best wakeboarders in the state, and elsewhere here to show you how to catch air on a wakeboard like you can’t believe. These really are fun events that we’ve been to before, bring your whole family and be prepared to be amazed at what these guys can do on a wakeboard.
