After 2 years of construction work, the new Dixie Drive exit in St. George UT is now open for Business! Or traffic… Either way, residents and vacationers alike are very excited. This new exit will save people that live on or travel to the south side of Bluff street about a mile and a few extra traffic lights give-or-take now that you no longer have to drive all the way around one of the many enormous plateaus that are a part of the beautiful St. George scenery.
That also great news for us at St. George Vacation Rentals because before now renters would need to get off at Bluff street and make a series of turns to get to Dixie Drive to then reach their destination at the Las Palmas condos. Now, all renters will need to do is get off Dixie Drive, drive about 3 miles and then make a left at Canyon View Dr. and you will be there. Easy as pie!
The on and off ramps that connect Dixie Drive to th I-15 freeway are pretty intricate and consist of 6 bridges and a tunnel under the freeway that allows bikers and pedestrians to pass safely.
Hip-hip-hooray for the UDOT constructions worker getting this project completed in a timely manner and ready for us to use!
