No, the title is not figurative!
Come run in one of the most challenging 5k and 10k runs in all of Utah. A capstone activity for cotton days, this race winds along the Cottonwood Wash Trail down the Virgin River.
But make no mistake, this is not your grandma’s race, because on your way back out of the canyon runners face 1/2 mile of 30% uphill grade.
Angels and demons alike are encouraged to show up in costume. The best costume wins prizes alongside the fastest runners.
Registrations will be available at the Washington City Community Center or online. Registration closes on midnight on May 12, 2011.
Race starts at 6:30 pm at Virgin River Trail head, on Telegraph at the end of Washington Parkway.
