There are a handful of little places and things to do that make St George a great place to visit.

Washington Paved Trail

There’s a little known paved walking trail you can find just off of the Washington County exit, north of the Telegraph exit; where you can find by heading directly south and parking off the road in a dirt parking lot. There’s a walking trail that’s quite easy but it takes you down to the Virgin River, and is surrounded by beautiful rock canyon walls. It makes for an easy and yet rewarding stroll through the rocks down to the river.

Cupcakes from 25 Main

Looking for a little sweet escape to end out your day? Then 25 Main in St George is a hot spot, especially with the locals. They have some of the best cupcakes you can find anywhere. It’s found right on main street across from the parking garage and near the Tabernacle. They also serve lunch, and dinner as well, but really the cupcakes are to die for.

Sand Volleyball Courts Next to Vernon Worthen Park

If playing some night sand volleyball is your thing, then there are some fantastic sand courts right next to Vernon Worthen park that have lights on them. The sands great and the lights weren’t skimped on. So bring your A game and a love from volleyball and you won’t be disappointed.

Pickleball

There are a ton of pickleball courts available in St George, in facts it’s becoming a very exciting sport and is incredibly fast growing, especially here in southern Utah. So if you’re looking to get your life sized table-tennis game on then there are ample opportunities here for you.

Take a Night Walk in Down Town St George

The entire area around down town St George has been masterfully built and designed to be walker friendly. And it comes alive at night with beautiful street lights, curved walkways and things to see that make it such a great place to be. Especially down next to the Tabernacle where the carousel is. Taking a stroll along this park as the suns going down is a memory you won’t soon forget.
